From the Slopes

Just a minor setback…

Hey, just thought I would check in from Aspen. I have a little break from racing until next week. Hopefully I will be able to race. Last Saturday I suffered a bad fall training slalom. I hyper-extended my knee and strained a couple of things. This morning I got an MRI to make sure nothing was torn. I have not received the results but we’re pretty sure nothing is torn because each day I’m getting better, which is usually a sign that nothing is torn. I have been doing physical therapy at Aspen Sports Medicine and I can’t thank them enough. They fixed my shoulder at the beginning of the year in time for me to start my season and they’re doing a great job with my knee. I’m having problems finding a brace that will work for skiing, so I hope I can get that ready in time for next weekends qualifiers in Winter Park. Lets hope I will be healthy and ready to go. I’ll talk to you soon and let you know my MRI results, but cross your fingers.

Thanks,

Bobby Moyer
