Moving on up
OMG … I’m so f-ing pumped up right now. I just happen to be closing on my new condo here in the wonderful town of Breckenridge next FRIDAY!
I just can’t wait any longer. I bought the place last summer or fall when it was just being built and was fortunate enough to pick out all that went into the place! Counters, carpet, tile, hardwood, appliances, pretty much the whole shebang!
So pretty much all of my time and efforts have been going in to this for the past few weeks … and for the next couple of months, no doubt!
Been shopping for all sorts of new furniture and nice little household items, which of course will make my new place look like something out of the Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn catalog. It’s pretty rough being a two-time Winter X gold medalist … it means expensive taste in everything! Ha.
Having said that, it brings me to my next topic, the mortgage … a little higher than expected, but my girlfriend and I will make do. I am very pleased to say that I think we’ll be able to manage just fine!
Oh, where are the pictures you ask? I have them, but I’m not showing you just yet. I’ll wait ’til next weekend to show you the before and after shots! How’s that sound? Good? Well too bad, you’ll just have to wait ’til then.
So the next time I write to you, I’ll be sitting in my new house relaxing in a great new office, which will be a new thing for me … never had one of those before.
So I guess I’ll just let you all know how that is. Hopefully it’s not too much of a hastle! Ha.
