Last couple of days
I have been very busy my last couple of days in Florida. I have been trying to get a bunch of last-minute things done and get packed up. On top of that, I have been doing a little more yardage this week than last so I’ve been pretty exhausted.
On Monday, I had to take my car to the tire center at Sam’s Club to get three new tires. My mechanic told me that they were looking pretty bad and I should get new ones before driving up to Athens. I wound up spending about two hours in Sam’s Club because there was only one person working when I got there, and there were several people wanting tires.
Tuesday was a trip to the vet for Stella. She has a couple of red marks on her stomach and neck, so I wanted a vet to look at her. She licked all the hair off those two spots, so the vet wanted her to wear a cone collar for a while so she wouldn’t keep licking the sore areas. I felt so bad for her the first day because she couldn’t figure out how to walk while wearing the cone. Every time she got up, she just walked backward until she ran into a wall. The vet told me that it is fairly normal for animals to be disoriented wearing the cone.
Wednesday was the day for me to make some extra room in the trunk of my car. When I got my car, the previous owner installed a system with subwoofers in the trunk. They take up a lot of room and after the original amplifier fried, I couldn’t afford to get one that was quite as good, so they never sounded as good again. So I went to Best Buy and spent a couple of hours there waiting for those to be uninstalled. So far, it has been totally worth it. I don’t even listen to rap, so I don’t really need the extra bass. My music still sounds good, and I have a ton of extra trunk space.
Since then, I have just been readying myself for the move. I’m sure that I will be up late tonight continuing to pack. The goal is to leave early in the morning, so I can get the key from my landlord and move in when I get there. Beth is excited to see the place, and Stella will get to become acquainted with her new home.
I’m excited to go to the game on Saturday! We got tickets on the 50-yard line.
Go Dawgs!

hey robert. I found your blog on swimaids.com when i was just chillin at home on thursday. I hope Georgia is going good. Speaking of georgia i was actually thinking about emailing the coach Jack Bauerle after states to just tell him that i was interested in the school, even though i know i have to get alot faster to be recuited. So maybe you could put in a good word for me in a year or two. Anyway, i would have emailed you buy i forgot what you said it was that one day after practice. ok well my email is bleedingshadow96@yahoo.com (i know its pretty gay but i made it like 3 years ago and thought it was badass). So instead of talking via blog, it will be easier in an email. c ya
