Three kittens

On Sunday Beth and I were taking trips back and forth to our car getting groceries out of the trunk. One trip back to the car I noticed a kitten on our doorstep. It quickly ran away to find its brothers. The brothers were just a few steps away and we guessed that they were only a few months old. We can only assume that they were abandoned recently because they had no fear of humans like most neighborhood cats that don’t have homes. It has been getting cold out at night here and the cats were very hungry so we made the decision to take them in.
We quickly gave them all names, fed them, and took them to the vet. It turns out that none have been micro-chipped, so we got them fixed and took care of their shots. Bob Barker would be proud. We decided we could keep one but had to find homes for the rest. The vet told us that one of the cats is a Siamese mix and it is a really neat looking car. That is the one we decided to keep and for now we are calling him Rip. His brothers are Marlowe (black), and Felix (orange). As of now Beth’s mom is planning on taking Felix. We are planning on giving her Marlowe as a parting gift. We already have a cat, Stella, so we really don’t want to have 3 or more cats running around all the time. It has been pretty fun lately to have 3 kittens playing around though.
Aside from the cats, we haven’t really been doing much. Beth and I have both been kind of congested lately. So practice hasn’t been great while I’m trying to recover from my cough. It is really frustrating because I have been training really well lately. I would have loved to ride the momentum from that and keep pushing myself. At this point it is much more important to be healthy than to continue to push myself so I might not recover quite as quickly. I should be fine in a couple days and then it’ll be back to training out of my mind.

Robert, rumor has it that your mother-in-law only wants one of those kittens.
