Super Bowl
The weekend is almost over, but there is one last thing to do. My friend Kara Lynn Joyce is having a Super Bowl party out in Bogart, Ga., where she lives. I have to admit that I don’t really have too much of an interest in the game though. I really don’t like the Patriots and, being from the SEC, I don’t like Eli Manning from his days at Ole Miss. On top of that, I’m not much of a pro football fan. I prefer college. But there will be food and friends. That will make it fun.
This has been a pretty relaxing weekend. I didn’t do much, just recuperated from a tough week of training. I played my new video game, No More Heroes, for the Wii and I watched a few episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm with Beth. That is one of our favorite shows. We never watched it when it was on HBO, but we got hold of a few seasons of the DVDs and think it is hilarious. I was a big fan of Seinfeld when it was on the air, and Curb is a lot like Seinfeld made for HBO and set in California. Today, we watched about half of the third season while lounging around doing nothing. Sometimes that is what the weekend is best for.
