No more Warriors games makes for a sad night
Tonight is a sad night, sad because there is no Warriors game to watch. Tonight would have been game 6 against the Jazz but since the team was eliminated from the playoffs on Tuesday there is nothing tonight but the season finale of The Office (a good show but not as good as Golden State). Still, I was proud of them. A month ago we didn’t even think that they were going to make the post season. They gave us a bunch of great games and Dana even got to work a few of them on court for TNT. She came back from game 6 against the Mavs having been pushed right into Santana. Nice.
Now my problem is that since the Warriors are done and the Sharks were eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs a few weeks ago the only big sport that I am left with is baseball – a sport that I have really struggled to get into. Not that I think that home run records and rookies who hit for the cycle (Fred Lewis just did it for the Giants) aren’t cool. It’s just that it’s a little slow.
