Here is a list of somewhat interesting events from the OTC.

• Both morning practices have been from 5AM to 7 AM … Ouch!
• I am now using a plastic garbage bag to hold my gear since I forgot my equipment bag at home.
• I also forgot a hairbrush and toothpaste … ew.
• It snowed last night.
• According to video and velocity analysis, my pullout is pretty bad … but I did get to see it instantly played back on a 60-inch plasma screen.
• There is a new Recovery Center here where I got a free massage today!
• The blood draw I got last week has turned my arm black (see pic).
• The dorm rooms now have wireless internet, a fridge, and a TV!
• The U.S. women’s volleyball team is here, and they are the tallest group of women I have EVER seen! EVER! I almost got squashed like a bug in the dining hall.
• I have reaffirmed that training at altitude is harder than training at sea level.
• My coaches seem to have forgotten that I am training at altitude.
• We had ice cream cake after practice today. It was the best cake I have ever eaten!
